Darius Stanley, formerly known as Joe Gator and better known by his
current stage name KingDarius TheGreat, is a Moorish American
rapper and songwriter from Marietta, Georgia. As a member of the hip
hop group, C-Side, Stanley saw major success when the groups first
two singles "Myspace Freak" featuring Jazze Pha - which was written
by Stanley, was the first song to go viral on the internet - and
Boyfriend/Girlfriend featuring Keyshia Cole both charted on Billboard,
respectively with the latter peaking at number 72 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 42 on the Billboard Pop 100. After parting with the group amicably, Stanley embarked on a solo career as well as writing for the likes of Flo-Rida, T-Pain, G-Unit recording artists, and more, including "American Superstar" by Flo-Rida
featuring Lil Wayne. One of Stanley's more recent collaborations finds him alongside rap veteran Busta Rhymes and others on a song titled "Hoop Dreams." Stanley's new single Self Love (Frequency) featuring R&B singer Aria Marie, is out NOW! Stanley is currently in the studio recording his debut EP.
